8. Who is behind Concrew Training?
Concrew Training was established as a limited company in 2014 by Ian Hirst.
Ian Hirst has more than 45 years of combined operational, training and consultancy experience, including 20 years in senior retail operations and over 25 years developing and marketing professional development training.
Concrew Training is registered for UK VAT.
9. What information is available on course content
We publish detailed course overviews for all courses. These course overviews are based on the course learning plans. These overviews provide indicative content, final content is based on each individual customer’s own requirements.
10. Can you include our own company policies and procedures?
Yes. We prefer to do this. Including your company policies and procedures in the training makes it easier to demonstrate how, where and why good practice applies. It contextualises the learning and improves quality. We do not charge extra for including your own policies and procedures
11. Are the policies and procedures you give us treated confidentially?
Yes. We treat all the information you provide as strictly confidential. We only use the information you provide for the specific training assignment/s you book with us

We publish a range of free compliance guides and resources to help employers evaluate training quality and improve workplace compliance. These free reference resources can be read on, or downloaded, from our website.

13. Who delivers the training?
We use a team of subject specialists to deliver the training. They have in-depth subject knowledge and experience and able to answer most questions posed to them, on rare occasions complex or obscure questions may require post course answers. Our subject specialists are also highly experienced trainers, trainers who can make even dull and boring subjects come alive.
14. How long do Concrew Training courses last?
Our published course overviews are based on one day courses, 6 face-to-face learning hours, delivered over a 7-hour day.
We also offer half-day courses based on condensed content and multi-day courses by extending content and/or merging multiple one day courses
Our one day courses typically start at 09:00 to 09:30. Our half-day (3 hour) courses typically start as 09:00 / 09:30 and 13:00/14:00 . The exact time varies according to each individual customers’ needs.
15. How much does your training cost?
The typical, excluding vat, price our customers pay is between £800 and £2000. The exact cost varies according to the training’s duration, location, number of participants and payment terms.
We publish full price details on our website. This enables potential customers to establish the likely cost without a formal quote. Our formal quotes secure the price for 30 days.
16. What payment methods does Concrew Training accept?
Payment is made against our formal VAT invoices. Payment can be made by BACS, Faster Payment, IBAN, Debit Card and Credit Card.

Yes, we can deliver all our courses online in real time on your video conferencing platform
18. How many delegates can attend a course?
Up to 15 people can attend online training courses.
Up to 20 people can attend face-to-face “training room” based training courses
19. Do you provide CPD certificates?
Yes, we can provide CPD certificates for all our courses. They detail the number of learning hours and headline course content
20. Can courses be tailored?
Yes. We align final course content to each individual customers’ needs. This includes dovetailing content with your own policies and procedures, when required.

22. How far in advance should we book training?
We recommend our training is booked 2 to 3 months in advance. We usually have good date availability with a three month lead time. We only reserve dates against form bookings. Availability decreases with time. During quieter periods we may have a very limited amount of short term, 2 week lead time, availability.
