Challenging behaviour from students is not new but in modern society the frequency and severity of the problem is increasing. This is especially true in some of the inner city and/or deprived areas of the country where the problem can be significant.
Poor behaviour from a small minority of students be it in the classroom, library or play ground or on a school trip can be highly disruptive for other students and a real challenge for even the most experienced teachers. Students knowing that punishment options are minimal frequently push the boundaries too far.
Concrew Training offers a series of one-day workshops that help teachers, trainers and learning support teams understand better the drivers behind challenging behaviour and learn some highly effective routes and techniques to minimise the frequency with which it occurs and to deal with it effectively when it does.
Whilst these workshops were designed and developed for the education sector they can be aligned to other sectors when required
